CAUTION: Taking astragalus might decrease how well the body gets rid of lithium. This could increase how much lithium is in the body and result in serious side effects.

Interacts with Digoxin and any type of Diuretics. Check with the doctor if on Oral Corticosteroids.

Interacts with Estrogen, Heparin, Ticlopidine and Warfarin.

Check with the physician if on nicotine alternatives.

 Interacts with Ciprofloxacin, Loop diuretics, Spironolactone, Thiazide diuretics, Trimterene.

Supports interaction with aspirin.

Do not use if you are pregnant or nursing.

There are several formulas of this type out there, but this particular one seems to work the best for me. I have inherently weak and constricted bowels. It is gentle yet effective. You can tailor the formula to best suit you. This originated as a Dr. John R. Christopher formula.

Cascara Sagrada, Buckthorn, Red Clover, Pau D'Arco, Astragalus, Burdock, Chapparral, Dandelion, Licorice, Lobelia, alkaline water, 30% grain alcohol.

Non-Alcohol: Cascara Sagrada, Buckthorn, Red Clover, Pau D'Arco, Astragalus, Burdock, Chapparral, Dandelion, Licorice, Lobelia, alkaline water, 30% grain alcohol, vegetable glycerin. 

✔ Take 6-20 drops in juice, water, or under the tongue for 30 seconds, up to 3-5 times daily

✔ Shake well before use and store in a cool, dark place
